Hey, I’m Jen. I’ve been knocking around the travel business for almost 10 years now. I started out running a little blog dedicated to road tripping California and then transitioned to selling travel as a full time travel agent, building up a business and sending my traveler clients all over the world. Here at Travel Stories I’m writing from the perspective of not only a traveler with stories to tell, but as a knowledgeable resource.
I’ve planned and executed trips to Europe and Costa Rica and the UK for my travel clients. I’ve created Mexico trips for singles and couples and large work groups. I’m a Hawaii and Disney certified agent. I’ve planned honeymoons to Tahiti and multi week road trips to New Zealand.
My true love is California and all our state has to offer. I frequently write about Los Angeles, the Central Coast and the Napa Valley. I am an incorrigible hotel hopper – I love to mix hotel types and levels in one trip and I’m generally pretty nosy about hotels and will do FAM trips and inspections whenever possible.
I travel a lot with my kids, who are all now in their teens and 20’s, but man have I learned how to travel with children over the years. My husband and I also travel with our dog sometimes, which is less fun but sometimes easier.
